The largest insurance company specialising in life insurance in Slovakia
AMSLICO AIG Life is the largest life insurance company in Slovakia and according to the statistics of the Slovak Insurance Association (SAP) it boasts almost 13 percent share of the life insurance market (SAP as of December 2007). The insurance company AMSLICO AIG Life was registered in the Companies Register in September 1995. It posted profit already in its third year of operations and it is one of the most dynamically developing insurance companies in the country. AMSLICO AIG Life currently serves more than 326,000 clients and you can find its agencies in all bigger cities of Slovakia.
AMSLICO AIG Life reported a net profit of SKK 487 million for 2007, making it one of the most profitable insurance companies in the Slovak Republic. The economic results and dynamic growth of the company constantly attest to the fact that AMSLICO AIG Life really does provide the citizens of Slovakia with financial security. AMSLICO AIG Life has a strong position on the Slovak market and its clients know they can fully rely on its financial strength and security.
In 2000 the company AMSLICO AIG Life set up its 100% subsidiary AMSLICO AIG Funds správ. spol., a.s. with the aim of providing the most modern investment services possible as part of financial planning. AMSLICO AIG Funds správ. spol., a. s. received its license from the Financial Market Office on 24 November 2000 (licence became valid on 7 December 2000) and currently offers its clients six open-ended mutual funds: Foreign growth open-ended mutual fund, Income bond open-ended mutual fund, Central european money market - bond open-ended mutual fund, Crown money market open-ended mutual fund, Central and eastern european balanced fund and Czech conservative open-ended mutual fund.
On 9 February, 2005, the commercial name of the administrating company AMSLICO AIG Funds správ. spol., a.s. has been changed by entry in the Commercial Register of the Slovak Republic into AIG Funds Central Europe správ. spol., a.s.
After four years of succesful business enterprising on Slovak market, the company as the first Slovak administrating company expanded its activities into other countries of Central Europe.
